Combat equipment and resources for the Polish Army

On October 11 in Nowa Dęba, in the presence of Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak, companies of the Polish Armaments Group concluded a number of agreements with the Armament Agency for the supply of combat equipment and means for the Polish Army.

 

One of the agreements signed is an annex to the contract for the supply of 120 mm fragmentation and demolition mortar ammunition for Rak self-propelled mortars. The subject of the annex, to the currently executed contract dated April 29, 2021, is a further increase in the supply of Rak-HE-1 ammunition for 120 mm M120K Rak self-propelled mortars, which are part of company fire modules for the Polish Armed Forces.

The aforementioned agreement, concluded in 2021 between the Armaments Inspectorate and the PGZ-Rak Ammunition consortium consisting of PGZ S.A., ZM DEZAMET S.A., Mesko S.A. and ZCH Nitro-Chem S.A., covered the procurement of fragmentation and demolition mortar ammunition in 2022-2024 for a gross amount of approximately PLN 256.3 million. As a result of the annex, the existing contract was extended by an additional several thousand Rak-HE-1 ammunition, with no change in the delivery date.

Under the currently annexed contract, Metal Works Dezamet S.A. has already delivered tens of thousands of 120 mm mortar ammunition. Its portfolio includes not only 120 mm ammunition, but also ammunition of various types and calibers from 40 mm to 155 mm, as well as fuses and grenades.
