SHOWS FOR THE POLISH BORDER PATROL
On 27 July 2022 at the area of BZ Academy – Desert Storm Shooting Range near the Lubań city (dolnośląskie province) theoretical and dynamic shows were held. The shows were dedicated to the representatives of the Polish Border Patrol. The event was organised by Zakłady Metalowe Dezamet S.A. and Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów S.A.
Almost 20 persons were engaged in the shooting practice, 15 of which were different rank and different group officials representing the Polish Border Patrol.
The colleagues from Tarnów demonstrated three products: UKM 2000P, UKM 2020S and 40 mm RGP-40 grenade launcher. Dezamet representatives demonstrated and provided ammunition for the grenade launcher.
Each participant was presented with an opportunity to learn about Zakłady Metalowe Dezamet S.A. offer. When we demonstrated the products, some important discussions were being held. The discussions concerned requirements for end user of 40 mm ammunition and actual demand for such ammunition. With limited area of the shooting range and high risk of fire, the following types of ammunition were not demonstrated: NGOS-N illuminating ammunition, NGZ-N incendiary ammunition and NGHB-N flash-bang ammunition. Additionally, demonstrated ammunition was limited to the following types: NGB-N1 and NGD-R.
