60 MM MORTAR AMMUNITION
60 mm mortar ammunition is fired from 60 mm Light Mortar LM-60D and 60mm Commando Mortar LM-60K.
Available versions of 60 mm ammunition:
- 60 mm HE mortar bomb - O-LM60;
- 60 mm illuminating mortar bomb - S-LM60;
- 60 mm smoke mortar bomb - D-LM60
60 MM HE MORTAR BOMB O-LM60
The 60mm mortar cartridges with a fragmentation projectile are designed to flare live force, fire assets and unarmored military equipment.
They are fired from the LM60D (long-range version) and LM60K (Commando version) mortar.
60 MM SMOKE MORTAR BOMB D-LM60
The 60 mm mortar cartridges with a smoke shell are designed to put up a smoke screen singly or with several shells in order to camouflage the actions of own troops (fire means, resistance nests, command points) and to blind enemy observation systems. The emitted smoke masks in the visible light and infrared range.
They are fired from the LM60D mortar (long-range version) and LM60K (Commando version).
60 MM ILLUMINATING MORTAR BOMB S-LM60
The cartridge is used to illuminate the terrain in the target area and enemy objects and groupings, either singly or with multiple rounds. The 60 mm mortar cartridge with illuminating projectile is designed for firing from the LM60D mortar (long-range version) and LM60K (Commando version).
